NORTHEAST - Affinity Health System, including Network Health Plan received the Gold Well Workplace Award. • Leonard & Finco Public Relations, Inc. has received ten “PRemier Awards” from the Public Relations Society of America – Northeast Wisconsin Chapter, including the best of show, Grand Award. • The public relations team at Directions Marketing collected four awards at the 2011 “PRemier Awards.” • Lappen Security Products has announced an expansion to its products and service offerings with the opening of its new Door Division. • The Boldt Company will receive a 2011 Build Wisconsin award from the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Wisconsin for its innovative restoration of Oshkosh’s Grand Opera House. • Rick Griesser of Automated Records Management Systems, Inc. has been awarded the Double Diamond Individual Performance Award from the Association of Information Technology Professionals. • Fox Valley Technical College recognized business owners Kristin Ellsworth of Peeps Eyewear; Pat Marciniak of Septic Solutions; Lillian Strickland of BraidPik Enterprise; and Louis Woods of Wolf River Outfitters for their commercial successes in developing products for the marketplace during the first-ever Northeast Wisconsin Inventors Night Event. • Fero Software, LLC announced it has purchased the Serving Success point-of-sale system from Hodgsoft Inc. • Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) received the Futuremakers Partner Award from the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) Board. • Schneider National has been named to the G.I. Jobs Top 100 Military-Friendly Employers® in the nation for the sixth year in a row.

Northwest – Chippewa Valley Inter-Networking Consortium (CINC) was awarded the UW Extension Chancellor’s Friend and Advocate award. • Dahl Automotive announces the grand opening of their newest venture, an ABRA Auto Body and Glass franchise in La Crosse. • Samuels Group Environments was presented with the Herman Miller Dealer Performance Award for 2010. • The Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce announced Lori Weyers of Northcentral Technical College as its 2011 ATHENA Award recipient and Sheila Rovang of Aspirus as the ATHENA Young Professional Award winner. • Thomson Reuters has named Aspirus Wausau Hospital one of the nation’s 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals.

Southeast – Kerzner Remodeling & Construction announced it was one of five companies awarded the 2011 Torch Awards for Business Ethics and Integrity by the Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin. • The Koepke family farm has been chosen to receive the Leopold Conservation Award from Sand County Foundation and the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation. • MGS Mfg. Group expanded and relocated its automation department into a new 14,000 square foot facility. • Michael Best & Friedrich LLP was awarded the Healthiest Employer Award in the medium category from The Business Journal of Greater Milwaukee. • Superior Support Resources (SSR) was named the Outstanding Minority Business in Wisconsin at the Governor’s Conference on Minority Business. • Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. has been recognized in the inaugural publication of the 2011-2012 Best Law Firms rankings released by U.S. News Media Group and Best Lawyers. • Franklin Energy Services LLC received second place in the medium category (101-1000 employees) of The Business Journal’s Healthiest Employers Awards program.

Southwest – Stephan & Brady Inc. received an Award of Excellence at the Public Relations Society of America-Madison Alchemy Awards. • Effective January 1, 2012, Wisconsin Heart & Vascular Institute will join Meriter Medical Group, increasing its providers from 68 to 116 in less than 2 years, an increase of 71%. • Foley & Lardner LLP has been named the first U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Law Firm of the Year” in Health Care Law. • The North Central Group celebrated its 30th anniversary by donating 4,000 pounds of food and more than $3,500 to local Feeding America organizations (formerly Second Harvest), as well as instituting Team Member Appreciation Day. • The University of Wisconsin-Platteville, an accredited pioneer in distance learning for the last 33 years, is among the top schools in the nation for an affordable online bachelor degree in business according to GetEducated.com. • M3 Insurance was recently named to the 2011 list of Best Places to Work in Insurance. • The Wisconsin Safety Council received the National Safety Council Hall of Fame award in appreciation for outstanding leadership in sales and service to Wisconsin companies.
