WCCAs — Wisconsin Corporate Citizenship Awards
Wisconsin Corporate Citizenship Awards
Nomination Criteria
We invite you to submit your nomination for the 2010 Wisconsin Corporate Citizenship Awards. All companies with operations in Wisconsin are eligible to win.
To nominate your company, simply submit a narrative of up to five pages detailing your efforts in some or all of the following areas:
• Environment
• Community Relations
• Employee Relations
• Diversity
• Customer Relations
You may also submit up to five supplemental items such as news stories, brochures and photographs.
You do not have to use these categories as a checklist. Our judges will look at the totality of the company’s efforts and notable individual programs in awarding the finalists. But the following gives some idea of the range of factors we’ll consider in the judging:
Environment considers positive programs in place such as pollution reduction, recycling and energy-saving measures.
Community relations considers philanthropy, any foundation the company has, community service projects, educational outreach, scholarships, employee volunteerism and so forth.
Employee relations considers wages relative to the industry, benefits paid, wellness/health programs, education/employee development, family-friendly policies, parental leave, team management, employee empowerment and so on.
Diversity considers percent of minority and women among employees, managers and board members, outreach programs, support of minority populations with other programs.
Customer relations might include quality management programs, quality awards won and customer satisfaction measures.
